I love fashion. I always have. Fashion is one of the reasons I look forward to every season. Luckily I live in a place where we get to experience the beauty of all 4 seasons.

Maybelline Vivid Lipstick

I finally got to try the 2 colors in the new Vivid collection, shown in my previous photo set. I rate it a 7 for the simple fact that the colors are beautiful but the staying power is definitely not quite there.

Rite Aid is having a buy 1 get one 50% off sale right now. It’s for quite a few items actually, not just Maybelline products so go check out your local Rite Aid!

Dry Shampoo

I have purchased the FreshStart Dry Shampoo by Tresseme and it works absolutely fabulous! It has a citrus smell to it and it’s just all around wonderful. The best thing about it is it’s affordable. It’s about $5.00! I purchased mine at Target but anywhere they carry Tresseme you can buy it!

A little late on posting but I thought it still might spark interest. This was my nail polish choice for Independence Day. It’s simple but I thought it looked great.
Products Used:
Base Coat: Seche Base Crystal Clear Base Coat
Second Layer Polish (on ring fingers only): China Glaze’s Ruby Pumps (from the Wizard of Oz Collection)
Second Layer Polish (on rest of fingers): Essie in Blanc
For Shattered effect: OPI’s Shatter in White and Blue.
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat

Benfit has a really great Lip & Cheek stain that I just bought from Sephora. It came in a set of three. I wanted to try them our before purchasing the full size. (I’m a stickler for that… I have so many sample sizes to make sure I actually like the product and make sure my skin doesn’t react negatively first)

To use: Apply in a small area on the apple of cheeks and use finger to blend out. It’s a building stain so you can go as dark or as light as you need. It looks so natural and both the posie and the rose are beautiful when applied.

The set of 3 came with the highlighter and I have yet to use that. I use a mac highlighting powder at the moment but I will try the Benefit product soon.

And, as of late I’ve been using bronzer, not blush, because of the sun that wants to come out!!!
